Detailed Commentary
I've never had another coffee maker that has lasted as long as this one. The brew system in this Braun is clearly superior to later models. I've used this to make a couple pots a day for over 6 years now and it has not failed yet. The white model will eventually get some unattractive staining around the rim where the drip basket fits. I can't understand why Braun stopped making the 12 cup models. Their newer 10 cup version of this model does not brew nearly as hot and is clearly inferior to this model.
