Detailed Commentary
I recieved this coffee machine at christmas many moons ago, and have been pleased ever since. The water comes out at approx. 200 degress F, it takes approximatly 6 minutes to brew a pot, and the coffee is great every time. I can brew anywhere from 4 up to 12 cups, and get the same pot of coffee, which is awesome. I worked at a small arcitectural firm last summer, and they had two of these bad boys in the break room. Each machine probably made 5 to 6 pots of coffee a day, and every one turned out great. We could brew pots back to back and they would taste the same. Very durable.
The coffee maker is kind of hard to clean though. The outside has a kind of ribbed texture that traps coffee grounds and other dirt, and is slightly hard to clean. Also, the water resivoir has some sharp corners that I can't clean easily because my fingers are too fat. Another complaint is there is no thermal carafe available. I think that braun should release a 10 cup thermal carafe that works right in the coffee maker, so I don't have to have another carafe sitting on the counter.
