Positive Product Points
Easy to use. Alot of features. My favorite is the variable temp hot plate. Comes w/ a swiss gold filter which is nice.
Negative Product Points
Flimsy plastic and the assembly is poor. Unit would not work on it's third use until shaked by a red headed nanny. It has worked flawlessy thus far.
Detailed Commentary
I like the unit so, so. I purchased it after reading all the positives reviews from another site. On the third use it would not brew, it came on and all but no brewing. I pressed the temp sensor, re-inserted the carafe, turned unit off and on, and so forth, took the water filter out and replaced w/ the filler, nothing. I shook it up a bit and it has worked ever since. I can't really say it brews coffee any better than my free Godiva one I used for two years, honestly. If you want good coffee roast your own beans, thats the biggest improvement you can do IMO.
Buying Experience
The buying experience w/ Amazon.com was a nightmare, I hate ordering from them since it's nearly impossible to acutaly speak to a human. The trick is finding a phone number on their website, you almost have to hack to find it. It took me about two weeks to get my order correct.
Three Month Followup
I wouldnt buy this again, (unable to change "buy again option above")overpriced. LED clock indicator cannot be read day or night unless you are two inches from it w/ emmetropia. Like i said you want good coffee? Roast your own beans and dive into some real flavor!
