Detailed Commentary

Well this is your standard Thermal Carafe Coffee brewing system.  The Braun Impressions is a fairly well built machine and will produce a decent cup quickly.  I would not suggest that this is any where near the end all be all of coffee brewers.

First the brew temp is too low.  It runs about 185-190 degrees F.  Which ends up being fine for me.  Anything above 195 will just boil and sputter at my altitude.  For everyone else... well you be the judge.  The price was fine for me.  I certainly did not feel ripped off.

Overall it works for my needs.  I needed a machine that can brew a cup quickly while I'm watching my newborn and keep it warm for extended periods of time (30 mins or so).  The reason I would not buy it again is that I full expect it to last until my 2 month old is at least a year old.  Then I'll have more time to prepare my coffee in a French Press or Chemex.  Till then this is a fine machine.

Buying Experience

I walked in and bought it.  Did ask for help and really didn't need any.
