Poor workmanship. Muddy coffee at end of pot. Coffee not hot enough. I do not like their customer service.
Detailed Commentary
My husband complained at first that the coffee wasn't hot enough. So I just started using hot water to make the coffee. I've always done that. Then the coffee was hot enough. You can't get a second cup of coffee because it seems all "muddy". YUK When I was cleaning the carafe I tapped the handle the wrong way I guess. Well, it broke off. There goes my coffee pot!! Now I am checking this site to see what others recommend. I won't re-purchase this coffee maker. I contacted Braun/Gillette and they sent me a website where I can "purchase" a new carafe. For the price I might as well just get a new machine.
Buying Experience
This was my second coffee maker purchased here in a month. The first was a Delonghi that overflowed all the time. I returned that one without any problems and purchased this Braun. I'm sure I can return this one also, I just can't find my receipt. I will go back there now and purchase my next coffee maker.
