And, no I don't work for them.
Very hot water is available right now ( no waiting for water to boil).
Checked  water temperature at the basket with a Fluke meter and they have stayed right in the recommended range 193-200* f (This information was obtained from searching the CERTIFIED COFFEE GEEKS posts).
I can mix water in the large reservoir ( I use a distiller) That lets me choose how much city tap water to allow with  chemicals (bad) and minerals (good). One pot city poured this round and then one pot full of distilled the next. Mixes quite well.

I had the same problem lots of other folks had with needing more coffee or thinking the grind needed changed to get a good pot. The original spray head is not restricted enough to allow the coffee grounds to seep correctly and caused an overflow problem in the filter basket.

I thought of getting rid of this coffee maker within the first few days of purchase, but stuck with it. I started searching for comments about the the  types of problems that I was having (weak coffee and overflowing filter) and  decided to call Bunn's toll free number. I was not put on hold or made to feel a bother for asking for help!

They are very helpful and courteous.

I was told of some of the causes and asked if I would like to be sent a couple of different spray heads to see if that would correct any problems I was having. No cost, no hassles, no problems! The spray heads arrived within a couple of days and I have been very happy with the results! What a company! It does not need an Italian, French or German brand name. What it has to do is make great coffee and it does.

I can tell you right now that if I were unhappy with this purchase you would know it by now. Sears would have made it right if need be, but they did not get the chance, Bunn Coffee has made it right.
