Detailed Commentary
I paid 90 USD for this machine. After using the Bunn machine for about five years, I can barely stand coffee made in any other home drip brewer. This machine brews coffee in a completely different manner from most home drip brewers. The speed at which the water is passed through the coffee prevents much of the nasty flavors that all other machines impart. The machine requires Bunn filters, which are slightly larger than standard filters, such as Mr. Coffee uses. These filters also allow water to pass through more quickly than standard filters--believe me, I‘ve tried other filters, and they don‘t work (unless your aim is to have wet coffee grounds all over your counter). This is the only coffee machine that I have used that produces coffee as good as coffee shops. In fact, the coffee that I get from this machine is BETTER than most coffee shops can provide!
