Detailed Commentary
I've owned a dozen or so coffee makers over the years and the Capresso CoffeeTEAM is not only the best, it is the only one that has lasted as long as it has (6 year so far). The only thing that has gone wrong in that time is that the lid on the carafe has come loose, which is not a real problem as it sits neatly on the carafe anyway.
It's almost ridiculously easy to set up and clean up, compared to other coffee makers of its kind. Pull out the old filter, rinse the filter holder, add water and, if necessary, beans, and CoffeeTEAM is ready to go. Programming is a little bit more complicated, but not hard at all.
Comes with a charcoal filter that you are supposed to change every 6-8 weeks, but the water in our town is so clean I only bother every three months or so.
The burr grinder is pretty much self-cleaning -- I've only had to clear it once.
And the coffee it makes is just delicious.
Buying Experience
I think they have different products now, but my experience in purchasing directly from Jura-Capresso was completely positive. They handled my order professionally and got the machine to me promptly.
