Bottom Line: If the carafe would  pour without spilling all over the counter top this would be a top notch machine.
Positive Product Points

Convenient with grinder sending ground coffee right into filter basket.
Several strength settings to tweak different coffees to taste.
Burr grinder is accurate.

Negative Product Points

Somewhat difficult to use.
Carafe will not pour coffee without spilling.

Detailed Commentary

The main convenience with the capresso is the lack of a mess from grinding and filling the filter basket.
I found some coffee strong enough to set the grind amount to 4-6 cups to brew a whole pot and other coffee would need the full setting.  I like the three strength settings to further tweak the amount of grounds for each pot.
My main complaint is a big one:  The carafe spills coffee every time I pour.  I was at a clients house some months ago and saw that he had the new model.  I asked him if he had the same problem and he was glad to know it just wasn't his pouring.  His also spilled coffee every time he used it.  I emailed Capresso and did not get a response so I will not buy a Capresso product again.

Buying Experience

Even though the coffee grinder/cofffee maker costs $200, I was glad that everywhere I saw it the price was the same.  That is a plus.
