Positive Product Points

Very Attractive and elegant, and the best point- it makes great coffee!
Easy to use, put coffee in the filter and pour hot water over.
Takes up very little space.

Negative Product Points

You might end up making coffee for all your friends all the time!
People will stop by at all hours to have you make them a cup!
Other than that no real negatives.

Detailed Commentary

I love to make coffee with my Chemex, it has all the flavors I like in a french press, but none of the sediment.  The filters are very heavy duty and yet don't seem to impart a taste to the coffee.  It produces a very clean, flavorful pot of coffee.  And the quality doesn't suffer if you want just one cup instead of 8.

Very sturdy glass construction, you won't want to drop it, but it won't break if you happen to bang it against another glass.

Easy to use, just put the filter in the top, add coffee and pour hot water over the top.  It's a very impressive coffee maker, great to use for a fancy dinner, and won't disappoint your guests.  It's perhaps my favorite way to make coffee.

Buying Experience

It was a gift from Sweetmarias.com, I tell all my family to shop there for my presents!
