Bottom Line: Good coffee maker with an unusual "RETRO" style
Positive Product Points

Pleasing appearance (if you like the RETRO look). Has programable auto on and auto off. Three temperature selection for the heating plate.

Negative Product Points

There is no fill indicator window on the water reservoir

Detailed Commentary

This coffee maker was our replacement for the ill-fated Starbuck's Aroma that we returned.  We decided to avoid any of the thermal carafe
units and looked for a more traditional type of coffee maker.  We were attracted to the "RETRO" style and it has all the features we were looking for in a coffee maker . Unlike the Starbucks Aroma this machine has made quite hot (and good) cup of coffee. Two features that insure this is the 3 temperature selector on the heating plate and a 1-4 cup setting that will "double heat" the water before brewing.

Buying Experience

Bought at Lazarus department store. Item was on "sale" for $99.00
