Detailed Commentary

Was very disappointed in the first few pots of coffee brewed with the Cuisnart.  However, after experimenting with a variety of grinds, (using my Capresso burr grinder), I hit upon a medium grind that suits the machine perfectly.  I believe this machine to be unusually sensitive to grind.  Also, using the proportions of 2 rounded tabespoons of coffee to 6 oz. of water.  Coffee is now full-bodied, aromatic, and quite enjoyable - coupled with the convenience, I don't think it can be beat.

Cuisnart appears to be very well built and makes an attractive additon to our kitchen.  The ablility to dial down the warmng plate is a big advantage, as is the abiltiy to adjust shut off time for the warming plate.

Of course, if must have a really, really good cup of coffee, I've got my Bodum French Press right next to the Cuisinart!

Buying Experience

Bed Bath & Beyond and the 20% off coupon can't be beat.
