Detailed Commentary
I have been percolating my coffee on the stove for a couple of years now and the transition back to auto-drip is going to be next to impossible. I'm used to coffee so hot it will burn you, if you're not careful. I researched these and managed to win a brand new one on eBay. I hoped the programming would simplify my mornings. The coffee was horribly bitter (should I have to change brands?) and not nearly hot enough. To top it off, THE SECOND DAY I used the programming feature, a coffee ground must have gotten caught and prevented it from all going into the pot. When I pulled the carafe out, coffee drained all over the pot and counter. So, it couldn't even simplify my mornings! Resold on eBay within three days.
