Positive Product Points

Great pot of coffee.  I have owned many other drip models, but this is my first cone-shape filter maker.  I am not a coffee expert, but my guess is that the cone-shape filters may do a better job in the flavor area.  This is one of the best tasting pots I have ever had.  Same water and coffee that I used this past weekend, yet this pot is much better!

Negative Product Points

The only real negative point is that it is a little difficult filling the water resovoir without spilling the water.  However, I would not let this stop you at all.

Detailed Commentary

It's pricey compared to the $24.99 Black & Decker or other cheaper type model but it is worth it.  Most of my past coffee makers only lasted 6-12 months. The build quality appears much better than most.  This one has a 3-year warranty and the coffee tastes better.

Go to www.cuisinart.com and check out the maker and available accesories.  You can buy replacement parts right online and register it there also.

Buying Experience

Almost bought on e-bay, but if you are an authorized Navy Exchange shopper, you save taxes and shipping.  The good 'ole NEX was cheaper than anywhere on the Internet.
