Bottom Line: If you like grounds in your coffee, coffee all over your counter, a machine that can't be fully or properly cleaned, this is the machine made special, just for you!
Positive Product Points

Decent stainless steel look (this may account for higher price tag, the non-stainless steel versions are cheaper)
Coffee Grinder attached

Negative Product Points

Swinging basket does not fully detach, making it impossible to fully and properly clean out coffee grounds.
Digital clock/timer feature is not simple, straight-forward to figure out and set.
Messy, messy, messy! Grounds always end up every where!
Pause n Brew feature does not work (remove carafe when brewing, more coffee all over!)
Carafe only keeps coffee lukewarm, and at that temp for only two hours. Freshly brewed coffee is not very hot either.
ALWAYS end up with grounds in brewed coffee.
Carafe spills/leaks coffee everywhere when you pour.

Detailed Commentary

Wow! What an over-priced piece of crap! Had I been with my husband when he bought this, it would have stayed on the store shelf where it belonged.  No matter how precisely you tighten the carafe lid and line it up, coffee ends up dripping or leaking from some orafice of this coffee travesty.  When using pre-ground coffee, water often fills the filter, sitting on top of the grounds and then spilling out all over the counter.  The spring-loaded basket area is not fully removeable, meaning coffee grounds cannot fully be cleaned out. The provided cleaning brush is not adequate for a proper cleaning. This is the least functional, messiest coffee maker I have ever encountered. Not worth the price if it's free.  I have yet to brew a cup that didn't have grounds in it.  Additionally, the carafe always leaks out the top when pouring. ICK!  The pause-n-brew feature does not work at all. If you remove the carafe during brewing, you will end up with a mess.

Buying Experience

N/A...but I hate all cuisinart prodcuts as I find them to be worse than dollar store quality (as a general, pictorail description, not that occassionally dollar store find can't be great).

Three Month Followup

BLAH...purchased in October '07 and as of April '08, my assessment is still as bleak. Don't recommend purchasing this.
