Too many parts to clean Grinder is stuck in machine. Grinder began to jam in machine after a couple of years; now it won't come out at all. Cleaning machine is a now an even greater pain in the neck.
Detailed Commentary
The machine sounded like a great idea: wake up to freshly ground, freshly brewed coffee. In truth, water sitting in the chamber all night makes stale tasting coffee. The grinder is so loud, I didn't need an alarm clock to wake me at 4:50 am - my bedroom was on the second floor and the kitchen on the first floor and the grinder still woke me every morning! We stopped using the timer for these reasons.
There are seven pieces to wash and dry after every pot of coffee: carafe, lid, filter holder, filter, filter lid, grinder, and grinder lid. So much for convenience…
Grinder began jamming in the machine after a couple of years--now it won't come out at all. Washing the grinder is a major pain in the neck.
The coffee is so-so. Had I not paid so much for the contraption, I would have replaced it a long time ago.
