Looks cool and the idea is good, too bad execution is poor as the coffee is weak and cold. This is my second cuisinart appliance that has disappointed. I will no longer purchase their products.

Detailed Commentary
I waited a long time and bought the stainless version with the thermal carafe. I was so disappointed in the product. It wastes coffee beans as the grind is too large and the coffee comes out cold and weak. Cleaning it is a major chore, it needs to be done daily as steam from the brewing process contaminates all the grinding parts. I tried to bypass the cleaning process by sealing off the grinding section with seran wrap but even then the coffee is not worth drinking. It was a complete waste of money. it now sits in the basement on a shelf collecting dust.

Was able to use a 20% off coupon so great. too bad the machine is junk.
