We have an older model and have been using it for a couple of years. (We actually purchased a refurbished one!) We absolutely love it. Yes, it does take a little extra effort to clean it, but it's well worth it.
We have never had a problem with parts breaking down and we use it every morning. If it did break down today, we have definitely gotten our money's worth and would not hesitate purchasing another one.
We don't use the timer, primarily because we like to get the beans right from the storage container directly into the grinder.
Buying Experience
Nothing special about the buying experience. We bought it at a Home Goods Store which is basically a close-out store.
