The second machine was only warrantied for a short period and since it leakes all over the counter EVERY time we use the machine, just as the first one did, we will no longer buy this Cuisinart product.

Detailed Commentary
When we first received this machine as a gift, we were thrilled. We loved all the conveniences it offered, and it made an acceptable cup of coffee. We live in the NE and it is difficult to find whole coffee beans in large quantities. I would estimate that our coffee drinking increased by 100% after we received this machine. We no longer needed to go to Dunkin Donuts to get a cup. This is the second Cuisinart we have had; the first one was replaced by them because it started leaking shortly before we had it one year. The second machine has started leaking also at about 1 1/2 years. When Cuisinart replaced the first machine, they made it very clear the second one was only good under the first one's warranty. We have talked to many, many people who have had the identical problem with this machine after it passes the one year mark.
Buying Experience
This was a gift, so all I can say is it arrived in good condition from Cuisinart.
