I have the stainless version with the 10 cup vaccuum pot (DGB-600). This product makes great strong coffee and it is easy to clean and program. Filling requires a 52 oz container, as the gauge is hard to see. Washing parts with a soapy sponge, rinsing and drying takes less than 2 minutes. A dry soft lint free rag works to wipe out the inside after the grinder is removed.

If you are making more than 1 pot you must thoroughly dry all parts before hitting the start  button. The gauge on the inside is hard to see when filling but a marked water container makes this easy.

I'm one of those wonderful guys that bring my wife coffee every morning in bed. I do it because I always get the first cup and she wakes up in a loving mood when she smells a rich roast.

A couple months ago she said the coffee just didn't have the same flavor from our existing pot and I started researching grind and brew coffee machines. My experience in coffee centers on the quality of the beans rather than the machinery so I decided to give it a try.

I like strong coffee but not the type that puts hair on your chest (especially for the one I bring coffee to) . On day one I tried a good French Roast and filled the grinder with 2 more than the recommended one scoop per cup of beans and it was too strong.  Going back to the recommended amount did the trick. Over the past month I have tried several quality blends and like the machine more and more each time I grind and brew.
