It looks great!! Also, I like the stainless steel carafe, because it keeps the coffee hot without burning it.

Detailed Commentary
I received this from my daughter Christmas 2004. I have the beautiful stainless steel one with the stainless steel carafe. She knew I always grind my coffee just prior to brewing, so what a perfect gift.....right?!? I, too, was excited........until I used it. The grinder makes a horrible mess, and it takes FOREVER to clean up all the parts. After a few lengthly cleaning sessions, I stopped using the grinder. I thought I would just remove it, but the coffee maker will NOT function without the grinder in place. SO, EVERY morning I just press "grind off" before I press the "ON" button. I went back to using my old faithful grinder that I have used for years. After about 3 months, the coffee maker stopped brewing. No amount of TLC would revive it, so I returned it to Robinsons-May and exchanged it for another one. That one is still working. I would NEVER buy this for myself, but I have kept it so my daughter's feeling would not be hurt. She does not know the problems I have had with it.....and is not a coffee drinker, so there is no chance she would buy this for herself. I have told a number of my friends to not purchase this coffee maker. I even told a few brides about my experience when I saw that they had it on their gift registry.
Added 5 - 21 - 06: The grind and brew coffee maker I received in tne exchange stopped brewing, just as the previous one did. Macy's has told me they will exchange it. I hope they let me exchange it for something else. Cuisinart is a non-responsive manufacturer, so make sure you buy ANY of their products at a store that will stand behind the warranty.
Buying Experience
It was a gift from my daughter. She purchased it at Robinsons-May. They were great about exchanging the defective one for a new one.....and I had misplaced the gift receipt. Too bad Macy's bought them out.

March 24, 2007 - My 3rd Grind and Brew is malfunctioning, just as the other 2 did. I will return it to Macy's for an exchange. I have had this machine about 9 months. I like everything about this machine except the horribly messy grinder, and the fact that I have gone through 3 machines in 26 months. I really feel that a $150.00 machine should last longer.
