Coffee tastes burnt after 5 minutes. Absolutely way too much heat on the warmer and it cannot be adjusted. Can only fit small cups under dispenser so you have to use another cup to fill your travel mugs.
Detailed Commentary
While the design of the maker is pleasing to the eye, the coffee it produces is not pleasing to the palate. I like the convenience of dispensing coffee at the press of a button and thought that since the coffee is kept inside the maker and away from the air the taste would be good and not be oxidized or burnt in five minutes. I was wrong. The heating element is at such a high temperature that the coffee tastes bad after five minutes of brewing. The dispensing opening is very small so you can only fit a mug or a two cup measuring cup under it, so if you need to fill a travel cup you will have to dirty another cup to fill it. It is fairly easy to clean.
Buying Experience
None. I bought it at Lowes. I picked it up off the shelf, went to self-check out, scanned it, paid for it, and didn't speak to anyone.
