This little guy fits well on my counter and makes just enough for my wife and I. It brews at a great temperature.

Detailed Commentary
This little machine brews with the best. Cuisinart coffee makers have a good reputation and for a good reason: they don't over-heat the water and they brew at a good pace. This thing does a great job. If you don't have the room or the need for a 10 or 12 cup pot you should buy this machine. There are no bells and whistles. There is a very easy to read plastic insert in the water reservoir that measures to 4 cups. I haven't tested to see if a cup is 5, 6 or 8 ounces. I believe it is set for 6 on this machine. I like this feature because I don't have to pour cold water into the pot and then into the machine. You can easily fit a size 2 gold tone or mesh filter in this if you want to, but I am finding that these filters lack flavor clarity though you gain body and mouth feel. I'm probably going back to paper filters. The machine is easy to clean and care for. I have not tried to run any descaling solution through it yet since I usually use filter, softened water.
