This coffee maker is nice and compact for anyone who needs a 4 cup. I really like the stainless carafe, no worries about it breaking. Solid machine with easy cleanup. Easy access for water and filter.
Negative Product Points
Slow brew time (mine is older so it may be slowing down...but it takes 6 min to brew 4 cups). The carafe leaks like an SOB if you don't maintain a perfect pour. Has a hot plate. The Lid for the water/filter is hard to open.
Detailed Commentary
I have owned this little coffee pot for just over a year. Its great if you have limited space on your counters. I like the stainless carafe, but it does leak really bad when you try to pour a cup quickly. Access to the water and filter is conveniently under a single cover, now trying to open that cover with one hand is not so easy. The cover is on tight so you have to brace the machine with one hand and pop open the lid with the other. The Hot plate.....what can I really say about the hot plate....WHY IS IT THERE! Who really needs a hot plate for a 4 cup maker. I tested the temp range of the water...I was receiving readings roughly around 185-190. Overall this is a nice little coffee maker for the price, but it does have some downfalls.
