Writer's Expertise: I love coffee Would Buy Again: No
Similar Items Owned: Starbucks thermal, Krups
Bottom Line: Nice easy to use design, which brews awful coffee
Positive Product Points

Nice aethetics, easy to use and clean
Thermal carafe works well

Negative Product Points

Makes the *worst* coffee of any machine I've owned.
Carafe lid needs to be in a specific orientation relative to pot in order to be screwed on correctly

Detailed Commentary

Bought this machine to replace a coffee maker (starbucks) which constantly dumped
coffee all over the counter.  While the Cuisinart has never brewed onto the kitchen counter
the first cup of coffee was not a good one.   Unfortunately it has been consistently bad.
Have tried different coffees and varying the grind and there hasn't been much difference.
The taste of the brewed coffee has been bad or very bad.   Have now given up and am
looking for another machine, in the mean time, it's french press or Melitta drip at home...

Buying Experience

Have previously purchased a grinder and Gaggia espresso machine thru wholelattelove.com.
Very happy with both,  price of both items were very good, delivery a non issue.  Would not hesitate
to purchase from them again and have recommended them a number of times to friends.
