Don't buy, Cuisinart warranty is poor, Shipping-YOU HAVE TO PAY, 7 weeks to get the unit back. Horrible experience, the grinder fails after several months of operation, Went through two units (first unit replaced by retailer), both grinders failed.

Detailed Commentary
I have owned two of these units, the first one returned to retailer and exchanged because grinder stopped working. The second unit lasted several months longer but still the grinder failed. Swing out coffee filter attachment lost its plush felling release capability and had to be nudged to open. The lid of the coffee maker becomes very hard to twist off the carafe and also clogs as coffee is being made causing coffee to spill over the counter (this happens only sporadically which is VERY frustrating). The grinder clogs too frequently stopping (after 3 -5 grind brew cycles) too much moisture penetrates the grinder shoot area causing the coffee to pack too tightly impacting the grinder mechanism stopping it cold. This was a fun unit to own if your goal is to pay a premium price for several months of operation.

Cuisinart 900 Series Grinder, Bought at Home sense, they were wonderfull and took the unit back w/o issue. Very good service.
