Detailed Commentary
I set the pot up with ease. The directions and accompanying images make it painless.
Once set up the coffee was ready in the morning as programed. There it all ended. The digital timer crashed after the first brew and was inoperable. When I poured the first cup of coffee I ended up with as much on the counter as in the cup.
The coffee was tepid, and the basket with 8 measures (rated to hold 12) was almost overflowing.
It is fair to say that one can reasoably expect a bit more from this manufacturer. I was so frustrated there was a greater satisfaction tossing it in the trash than returning under the warranty.
