This coffee maker does make good coffee, keep it at a good temperature and has an easy to program timer. The problem I have wuth it is the filter cup can, and ocasionally does, pop out of place very easily. This makes the cup fill up ond overflow, spilling coffee all over the counter top. I have even made a point to assure the cup is securly in place before closing the top, but I still have the cup pushed out of place while inserting the pot. I can get it to work fine if I insert the pot first, make sure the cup is secure. and leave it alone until it's done, but I shouldn't have to, using a coffee maker should be a no-brainer. I would not recomend this coffee maker to anyone, because I really do not enjoy cleaning up spilled coffee at 5:00am.
