My son and his wife gave me this for Christmas.  It is easy to use, and brews a great tasting cup of coffee.   The coffee stays hot in my brew station.   The auto shut off has been great as we tend to run out and forget our coffee pot is on.

6 weeks ago, my brew station quit dispensing.  I took apart the basket and found, a plastic toggle that lifts the rubber gasket and allows coffee out, was broken.  When I contacted Hamilton Beach, they told me I needed a whole new basket that would cost $26.  I told them I only needed a small plastic piece and I could put it in myself.  They asked me to send the WHOLE basket to them and if they could fix it, they'd send it back.  The digital read out is difficult to see, and makes it hard to program.

I am not mailing my ONLY coffee pot away!  I found this to be a terrible flaw in customer service.  I know that my son and daughter in law paid a lot of money for this brew station, and I am not about to spend another $26 for a two cent part!   Whenever I make a pot of coffee, I have to remove the basket and pour the hot coffee into a carafe in order to drink it.    The digital display is a bit small which make it hard to see what you are programming.   I love the concept of the dispenser, but if it is going to be so easy to break, and so difficult to replace, it isn't such a great idea at all.  This is not a product I'd be willing to risk buying.

This was a gift from my son and his wife.  Not sure where they bought it.
