Detailed Commentary
At first I loved this coffee maker. The dispensing was great--no more coffee spills from people pouring. I also was impressed with the taste of the coffe. The coffee stayed warm for the 2 hours and the taste was consistent throughout that period. The 2 hour shut off is inconvenient but the other options outweighed it.
The problem is that the coffeemaker does not work for long. After about a month, the coffeemaker starts to pump less and less water during brewing and evetntually stops pumping the water. I have had 2 of these and stopped pumping water within 5 months.
Kitchen aid makes it easy to get another under the warranty but you need to send $10 forshipping then the send it to you--about 3 weeks total before you have a new one. So, I had to buy a 2nd coffee maker to use while I waited for the replacements.
