After years of loving the Cuisinart Coffee on Demand it finally died. I went out to purchase another at Kohls because I had a discount coupon and they were having a sale. The Hamilton Beach was $30 cheaper and I was sold on the fact that I could push the cup up against the machine and get a cup of coffee. I was worried that when you push against the coffee maker it would tip backwards, but at $30 cheaper I figured I could back it up against the wall. Well, the Hamilton Beach Brew Station does tip back when you get a cup of coffee. If you want a cup right after brewing, it is not super hot. When you make the coffee, assembly of the machine has an extra step. You have to take out the basket, then the brew station, then you fill in the water, then put back the brew station, fill the basket with coffee, and then put it in place. All before you can push brew. Don't cheap out. Pay the extra $30 and buy the Cuisinart Coffee on Demand instead.
