I was introduced to the B60 by my sister-in-law and after 60 seconds of drinking my first cup decided to buy one as soon as I got home. Having come from a life long instant coffee background, this was a quantum leap up in coffee taste and even easier to make than instant. I have subsequently learned to really enjoy coffee, instead of just drinking it to wake up in the morning. I now drink five to six cups a day (two caffeinated and the rest decaf) instead of just one. I also get up over an hour earlier in the morning, just to enjoy coffee. All of this is true because this is one great coffee brewer.
STRENGHs
The main strength is the convenience and simplicity of getting a fine cup of coffee. The B60 has an auto on feature that will start heating the water at a certain time you determine. Even not using that, the water will achieve brewing temperature within three minutes. When ready you just put in a k-cup and push one of three brewing size buttons. I drink dark roasts and extra bolds at 8 oz (7.25) and medium/light roasts at 6 oz. At first I used the 10 oz which was ok but when I tried my favorites at 8 oz, they tasted a lot better, so much better I started drinking my coffee black.
Another strength is the variety of brands and roasts. My favorite brands are Green Mountain, Tully's and Van Houtte. I don't want to drink the same thing every day and have a supply of about 10 varieties. I also continue to experiment with new offerings.
COMPLAINTS
I have no complaints but many don't like the noise and vibrations. I have gotten use to the sound which is less annoying than the whistle on by water kettle. The other complaint I read about is weak coffee. Some of this is due to using too large a brewing size, but I think the main complaint comes from people who are coffee gourmets who work very hard making the perfect cup of coffee. I read the term "Uber Coffee" on this site. I have to confess that I never had any Uber coffee, just instant and a few typical drip brews at the office, so I'm easy to please. The coffee that I get from this brewer is great in any case.
I think the B60 is the best price/value of all the Keuring brewers, but whichever one you have, enjoy!
Buying Experience
My buying experience with Green Mountain was completely satisfactory.
