I bought this coffee maker because of the good Kitchen - Aid name. It brews so fast that the coffee tastes weak! The end of the cycle produces so much steam that the coffee grinds shoot-up into the shower head and make one hell of a mess! Sure the fast brew is great if your in a hurry, but at what cost? If you want to buy a decent coffee maker get the Cuisinart. Around the same money and it's loaded with great options. I guess the name Kitchen -Aid it's what it used to be. For the money this coffee maker is a BAD BUY!
