Detailed Commentary
Saw it, had to have it. A work of industrial art, comparable to the FrancisFrancis products. Next to it, all other machines look like toys. Extremely well-built, easy to use. Two year warranty helped relieve some worry given the price. Not sure how long to expect the water filter to last, or what the replacement cost is. Only problem is the lack of a thermal carafe, which, until we saw this machine, was a requirment. So far, we have not utilized a pump pot, but probably need to--one more piece of equipment on the counter. We bought the matching grinder, which works great, something I couldn't say for the Bodum burr grinder it replaced.
