Don't waste your money, a $20 drip does just as well.
Positive Product Points
Looks good, and it's very quiet.
Negative Product Points
does not keep coffe warm very long. Controls are not user freindly. Too tall for standerd cabinets
Detailed Commentary
The controls, which are in small text and difficult to read due to position provide no status to the user. When you turn it on, it simply shows a red light until you turn it off. Auto on showes nothing at all. The sole selling point of this model is that the grounds are steeped prior to brewing. I have found NO change in taste of the brew from this added "feature". If you fail to removed the pot right away, the top stays in an open position allowing for coffe to cool. The lid does not seat well and is very difficult to screw on straight. When you do get the lid on, you have to wrench it down in order to seal the pot, then it doesn't pour well at all. In fact, even when the lid is adjusted to pour opposite the handle, it doesn't pour very well. I found the coffee is significantly cooled after just a few hours. Being only a 10 cup capacity, it ends up being just 2 1/2 for me and the wife. The unit is about 2 inches taller then the regular drip and doesn't fit under the cabinets. Aside from the good looks, it's a complete waste of money, which has confirmed my previous experience with Krups products. Don't bother!
