Bottom Line: Eliminates need for a seperate grinder, fresh coffee every morning. Great product.
Positive Product Points

I love this machine! Fresh coffee when you roll out of bed.

Negative Product Points

If you force the lid closed without lining everything up, you could damage it. Only a problem if your impatient or don't really understand how it works.

Detailed Commentary

I love to wake up to coffee ready to drink, and I don't have time to mess with manual methods in the morning. But as a homeroaster, i couldn't bear to grind beans the night before. This machine solves both problems, with an added bonus: no more spilled grounds getting them out of the grinder. It has a small footprint, and I'm really pleased with the design (I'm very critical of manufacturers). The Cuisinart is a plumbing nightmare, complicated, with lots of parts to clean or break, and a huge footprint. This has a much simpler design. Also, if you call them, you get a real person that will take the time to talk to you. I like that in a company.

Buying Experience

Not Much to say. Gotta love Target`.

Three Month Followup

Still waking up to it every morning. Still pleased with my machine.

One Year Followup

I have since "upgraded" to the Capresso Coffee Team Luxe. There was still nothing wrong with the Melitta, I was hoping to be able to make a stronger brew with the Cap. I was wrong. The Capresso is a little easier to clean, but otherwise is no improvement over the Melita. If my Capresso Dies, I will have no problem dusting this off and going back to using it full time.
