Wife bought this coffee maker for me as a gift. Looked rather cheaply made when I took it out of the box. After using it for about sixteen months, the latch that holds the coffee lid open (and the safety switch depressed) broke. It still works, though at times I have to sit something on top of the coffee door to get it to finish grinding
I haven't contacted the manufacturer yet but since it's not a well known brand, I'm not expecting much in the way of customer service.
It's more convenient than separate machines to mill and brew, but won't hold up for long too daily use. One of the earlier reviews stated “Will break within 1-2 years” and my experience bears that out
