I really don't understand the negative reviews this machine gets. I've used it daily for 3+ years and it's worked real well. Great coffee every day.

Wish I could adjust the 1 hour turn off feature. Time resets at the slightest power glitch.
Detailed Commentary
This unit has performed very well. I also have friends who own this unit and are all very happy with it. That's a lot of the reason I bought it was the good recommendation my friends made. The only negative experience I've had with this unit was the catch which holds the grinder closed broke after about 2 years. I contacted the manufacturer and the sent me a new one at no cost. They never even asked how old the unit was, I don't know if there's a lifetime warranty, or what. Of course I had to tape the lid closed while I waited for the new part, but it worked. New part arrived in a week or two and it was fairly easy to install.
