My Coffee Maker's support is awful and the machines are problematic
Positive Product Points
After purchasing this product in September of 2004, soon it leaked profusely and after I called in January of 2005, the unit was replaced quickly with no fuss. The coffee was good and kept hot. The machine seemed to function as designed. Good cleaning cycle.
Negative Product Points
After receiving the new coffee maker, it completely stopped working in August of 2005 and I was told to send it to my local service center.
Detailed Commentary
I have never had a coffee maker that stopped working, and never had trouble twice in one year. I am now using the coffee maker as a drip coffee maker and putting the pot on the stove to keep the beverage warm. Nothing electronic works now on this coffee maker except the clock.
It was vexing to have three auto responses to my online queries all saying the same thing before a human actually took the time to respond telling me to call somebody else, thus passing the buck.
Vendors should stand behind their products and most everything has a 1 year warranty. With Bunn coffee makers, once you buy one, they will ALWAYS send you a new one if the old one breaks.
