Negative Product Points

messy process to make coffee

Detailed Commentary

first off the coffee is hot. i assume at the proper temperature as others seemed to have measured it.
it is a  messy process to make a pot of coffee. the filter basket drips coffee when it is swung out.
the carafe drips coffee when poured.
the time to make the pot is 5 minutes. when i say pot i mean 4-8 ounce cups of coffee. you can not make more than that without running into issues such at clogging of coffee grinds in spray head.
i use fresh roasted coffee and at a full pot the bloom of the coffee grinds hits the spray head and causes clogging, leading to a mess. when i only make 4-8-ounce cups this is not a problem. 4 cups registers as the "6" marker on the carafe.
i have had the coffee maker for over 2 years and it is still going. i put the coffee after it is brewed into a thermos and turn off the machine, maybe this is why it has lasted so long.
as of this time the coffee maker is no longer made so i don't know where you would get one, perhaps ebay.

Buying Experience

no problems
