Detailed Commentary
I bought this model because I was very happy with the quality of coffee produced by the earlier, non-timer model of the Proctor Silex Easy Morning. The coffee is nice and hot, it has a two hour auto shut off, and it makes twelve cups. The swing-out basket is easy to emply, and I really liked the timer. My old Black & Decker was a real pain to program, this has a single switch (on-off-auto). Turn on for instant brewing, off when done, and auto to use the timer. There is a digital clock display, and three small buttons, hour, minute and prog. Prog is used to set the timer. The water tank has a very large top and is easy to fill, and the coffee brews fairly quickly. I have had no problems with spilling or overflow (I normally make only 6-8 cups at a time however). White plastic is easy to wipe clean. After six months of solid use (about 180 uses), I am very satisfied with this unit.
