Looks good and the cup keeps coffee hot for a long time. Timer works and it is nice to have a cup of coffee waiting in the morning.
Negative Product Points
As others have noted, sometimes the cup of coffee is all over the counter. It still smells good, but frutstrating because you can't drink it.
Detailed Commentary
I called Starbucks. Seems it is very tempermental about the hole placement, it has to face the back of he machine. If not, the vent holes in the cap get blocked and coffee goes all over the place. This is an obvious design defect, any good design prevents incorrect alignment to a reasonable degree, this device actually encourages incorrect alignment.
I have the hang of it now, still not 100% confident, so mostly use other coffee makers unless setting up for auto turn-on, then risk worth the ready brew.
