Bottom Line: A good product but not the ultimate as some people say.  They can do better or someone else can.
Positive Product Points

Simple Design and classic looks.  Brews good coffee.  Gives you control.

Negative Product Points

The carafe is really cheap for the price of the machine.  The plastic parts are not very high quality.

Detailed Commentary

I can deal with the carafe not fitting under the machine but it is really very cheap.  The worst part is that it is messy when pouring.  The plastic parts are low quality.  The flow control switch is already wearing out after 6 months.  It is hard to find the "notch" for slow flow setting.  The plastic piece that the carafe rests on separates from the machine and is just really chintzy.   That said, the machine makes great coffee although it does take some getting used to.   I like the fact that it doesn't have a timer or any other unnecessary features.  Just a few design and quality flaws.

Buying Experience

Fine.
