Bottom Line: Good coffee.  Still completely baffled as to how they could put so much effort into this product only to drop the ball on the handle.  lame.
Positive Product Points

interesting design.  Mostly quality parts

Negative Product Points

the handle on the glass pot is the worst I've seen.

Detailed Commentary

One would think that technivorm, after putting so much effort into making a great coffeemaker, would think the handle on the carrafe is important too.  Not the case.  I like the coffee a lot.  I like the coffee maker a lot.  but holy crap, for the price paid they shouldn't have cheaped out on the pot.

The rest of the body is good.  There is more plastic than I expected, but okay, plastic has it's place.  The base and the back end are solid.

I like the simplicity of this machine, but sorry, I can't help it, 190 bucks should buy you quality from top to bottom.  this is just not the case.

Buying Experience

great.
