Positive Product Points
You all pretty much know the strong points. It is simple, a lot more compact than you think when looking at pictures online. Not as ugly as one would think either. It works as advertised. I like the hot plate. I realize it "cooks" the coffee and harms the flavor but for a few minutes it is ok by me. I transfer my coffee to a carafe when I have the morning off, but on work days, I make enough to take with me and use the hot plate while I'm getting ready for work and enjoying the first fresh mug.
Negative Product Points
For me, personally, I don't really have any complaints. There isn't a weakness that I find to be much of a problem. It's easy and it works.
Detailed Commentary
I am simply a coffee person, not a professional. This machine does wonders for that morning coffee. This thing will even make some stale grocery store Folgers taste better. Buy the stupid thing. It's worth the money. I bought this from George Howell Coffee Company (terroircoffee.com). Great communication, fast shipping. When it arrived, there was some superglue type stuff smeared on the cold water reservoir. Before trying to remove the stuff, I called the seller. Customer service is not dead in this country. They are promptly shipping out a new unit and sending a prepaid shipping tag to get the old one back, no charge to me, no questions asked. I simply will buy from them again. End of story. Pricing/shmicing - they've got service. I love it.
