Positive Product Points
Easy to use. Makes consistently wonderful coffee. Looks very cool on the kitchen counter.
Negative Product Points
If I any one complaint it would be that there are a lot of pieces. There are separate lids to remove from the water reservoir and the coffee basket. I feel like there are a lot of pieces to move around when you use the Moccamaster. This is a pretty minor issue though.
Detailed Commentary
I have been looking at this coffeemaker for years, reading reviews on different sites, but just could not bring myself to spend the money. I have brewed coffee every way imaginable--every electric drip machine ever sold, vacuum pot, Chemex, French press. I never found a method that produced consistently wonderful coffee until I broke down and bought the Technivorm. If you are fussy about coffee and want something that takes a minimum amount of attention to set up and brew, it's definitely worth the investment!
