The heating unit broke (would not heat water) after only three months of use; because its sold via distributer it is extremely time consuming and costly to get repaired (even within 1 year warranty). The unit was only used once each day to make a single 8 cup batch of coffee. While the unit was functional it met the techincal specificiations advertised (we measured water temperature with a seemingly reliable, but not recently calibrated thermometer). For the cost, we were quite disapppointed that the unit broke so quickly and with so little use - especially for a company that touts specialized rating performance that is verified by a third party.
Buying Experience
Easy - purchased online from George H. Howell Terroir Select Coffees; but they are not supportive of the products they sell - be prepared to be handed off to some local distrubutor who could care less about the issue.
