My wife & I bought this machine to replace a much beloved Capresso Coffe TEC that bit the dust, We didn't have the money to buy another (and we rarely used the Capresso's frother feature), so we picked up this machine after reading some generally positive reviews about it. The Zojirushi worked pretty well initially: it made decent coffee, had a thermal carafe, and the timer was very accurate. After about five months, though, the thing just up and died. Also, one of the more frustrating things was that the carafe lid was difficult to turn. Pretty disappointing, all in all
