The first thing that I noticed about this coffee maker is that you cannot open the carafe. There's nothing better than waking up to a fresh brew of coffee and not being able to get the stinking lid open to drink it. There's no leverage points on the cap, and the design actually hurts your hand. Who wants to deal with that, especially before you've had your morning coffee. I'd like to know who designed the thing, and what they were thinking. Both mornings that I used this thing I wanted to throw the carafe through the window. Great design....

This coffee maker makes a decent cup of coffee, but you just can't get to it (see my negative comments concerning the carafe). Furthermore, the overall coffee maker is kind of cheap; I don't know how they get away with charging $90 for it. If you insist on buying it, get it from Target or somewhere else with a hassle-free return policy. I returned my after two days.
