The perfect first-time-buyer-grinder; might be a little pricey for many beginners, but it negates the need for two grinders (drip/FP/vac and espresso), thus saving money in the long run.
Positive Product Points
Great all in one grinder. Wide range of grind size; from French Press to choking my Europiccola. Leaves very little coffee in burrs, chute, etc. Relatively fast (1.9g per sec IRCC), which is a lot faster than my hand grinder (which has been my only grinder since i bought my espresso machine). Very quiet Has a surprisingly heavy feel to it, heavy in the sense of feels like it's well made.
Negative Product Points
Some very minor static issues. The doserless espresso PortaHolder is VERY messy with my small-ish PF (51mm), I stopped grinding straight into the PF as i lost 2-3g (!) onto the counter. Currently i grind into the box and then transfer to PF.
Detailed Commentary
I am really enjoying this grinder. wonderful fluffy grinds with little clumping, what little there is breaks up easily with leveling and tamping, no need for WDT etc. Personally, i am finding that the three programmable timers are unnecessary (for my use); as i am constantly changing between brewing methods and beans i don't leave any coffee in the hopper. i weigh the beans before i grinding. thus i just press play and stop when there are no more beans. I find the micro and macro levers to be intuitive and easy to remember, but i have put little stickers in different places in order to get a ball park before the obviously needed fine-tuning for the day/bean/age/humidity/etc A little sidenote; when installing the hopper, make sure you twist until you hear it "click" (surprisingly hard), or it won't grind; the timer will count down, but it won't actually do anything.
Buying Experience
